You’re invited to a virtual brainstorm… Will you help?

I recently wrote a post titled Banging Pans and Throwing Fish in Corporate America to share an fun way to engage people, meet and exceed goals and inspire organizational change.

big idea meeting

Today someone posted this question in response to that post,

“I work in a food production environment. Any Ideas on how to apply this on a production floor?  Remember. “Safety is the number one priority!”

I have never worked in a food production environment, so I can only only imagine what that is like.

  • I completely get the obvious need to keep both customers and employees safe.  (So flying fish are probably not an option!)
  • I don’t have an instant answer.  However, I get charged up imagining the innovative ideas that exist through Social Media Connections.

So I am inviting you participate in a virtual brainstorm, even if you don’t work in a food production environment.

  • What have you done to engage people in a fun way that inspires change?
  • What do you wish your organization would do?

No idea is too big, too crazy, or too small…

  •  You are welcome to leave comments on this blog or on the original Lead Change Blog that is linked above.  THANK YOU!

THANK YOU for commenting and sharing!

YOU ARE INVITED: To add your comments and to share your professional, personal and faith-based stories. Diverse opinions, compassion, and inspiration are welcome! (I reserve the right to delete comments that are offensive or off-topic.)

  1. As an improvement guy I like to have fun while improving business. On one of our improvement projects I first asked the team/division… what drives them crazy!!! Then we came up with a funny name for the project “Gladiator 5000”. Posted this name all over the improvement area and in about 1 hour we improved through put by 50%. Took the win and had a wonderful lunch party to celebrate!!! This helped the other folks in the company notice that improvement projects can be fun and eliminate what drives you crazy 🙂

    • Jerry – Thanks so much for sharing! You described one of my favorite things: The infections joy that spread as people begin to experience what it is like to be a part of something bigger than themselves, or their silos. Woo Hoo!
